| YVR Vancouver Airport |
Vancouver International Airport has service from all major US and Canadian cities and service from most cities in the Asia Pacific rim and Europe. Canada’s second busiest airport, Vancouver International Airport welcomed 16.8 million people in 2010, facilitated more than 293,000 aircraft take-offs and landings on YVR runways and handled 228,400 tonnes of cargo.
Air Canada, WestJet, United/Continental, American, Delta, Alaska, US Airways and many European, Asian and regional carriers service YVR.
On leaving YVR US destined passengers clear U.S. Customs & Border Protection (CBP) at Vancouver airport and then arrive at their US airport as a domestic flight.

| Getting to the Institute Hotel from YVR |
| PLEASE NOTE: we are unable to offer transportation from Vancouver Airport to the Institute hotel. At peak times there will be Rotarians at the Airport to meet delegates attending the institute and assist in arranging public transportation. |
- Taxi - will cost $30 to $35 for 4 people for the 15 km or 9.3 mile ride. It will take 20 to 35 minutes depending on time of day.
- Aeroshuttle provides shuttle service at Vancouver International Airport (YVR) to downtown hotels for $14.00 per adult (one way) or $24.64 per adult (round trip). Check current fare.
- SkyTrain - take the train to Water Front Station (last stop on the Canada Line) at Water Front station take a taxi or bus to the institute hotel. The cost of SkyTrain from YVR to downtown is $7.50 to $8.50 per person depending on time of day. SkyTrain fare includes bus transfer from end of the line to the Institute hotel. The cost of a taxi from Waterfront Station to the Institute hotel is approximately $8.00.

| YXX Abbotsford Airport |
An alternative to Vancouver airport is Abbotsford Airport, 50 miles east of Vancouver. Served by WestJet and some charter airlines.

| SEA Seattle/Tacoma Airport
- Sea-Tac |
Sea Tac airport is 3 hours south of Vancouver. There are significant savings in US domestic travel using Sea Tac. The highway from Seattle to Vancouver is I-5 and Highway 99. Bus service direct from Sea Tac to Vancouver is available from Quick Shuttle the cost is $57 one way and $99 return.

| BLI Bellingham Airport |
Bellingham Airport is one hour south of Vancouver in Washington. Many US airlines serve the airport but with limited schedules. It is a lower cost alternative to Vancouver airport. Quick Shuttle services Bellingham Airport. The bus fare is $28.00 one way and $49 round trip.

| Travel Documents |
All US visitors to Canada require a valid passport, Nexus Card or other US/Canada approved travel document. Citizens of the US do not require a visa to visit Canada. Citizens and residents of countries other than Canada or the USA please apply for any required travel documents well in advance of the Zone Institute. Please contact the Zone Institute Chair, PDG Penny Offer if you are from a country that requires a visa to visit Canada and a letter of invitation to attend the institute.
