This seminar is a new approach to Rotary education. We believe that clubs and districts excel when they are able to understand the connectivity of Our Rotary Foundation and other Rotary programs. When we strive to find best practices in all aspects of Rotary and celebrate the successes of their impact, we are able to truly understand how interdependent all facets of Rotary are to one another. Foundation programs and giving, membership, youth programs, and public relations all reach their maximum effectiveness when Rotarians understand how they fully relate to one another.
This seminar will focus on the most important areas of The Rotary Foundation and the most important areas of Rotary International in one seminar.
Regional seminars bring Rotarians together from different districts. This enhances the prospects for the exchange of ideas, best practices and opportunities to build partnerships for future service projects. Rotarians from Alaska, British Colombia, Washington, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Yukon and North West Territories have been invited to this seminar. Zone 24 – West includes Districts 5010, 5040, 5050, 5060, 5360, 5370 and 5550. In addition Rotarians from Zone 25 - Districts 5020 and 5030 have been invited.
We believe that the key to the success of this seminar is to encourage participation and to make the program more dynamic. There will be a number of very experienced speakers and presenters but principally they are discussion fascinators. Participation is a key goal of the Rotary Success Forum. Interaction between the participants and discussion leaders is a primary measure of success. We believe the exchange of ideas, strategies and views from new and experienced Rotarians who draw from their professional and Rotary experience is crucial to successful and flourishing Rotary clubs and Rotary districts.
